Yes. Every plan can send alerts to a verified email address. Slack, Discord and webhooks require Pro or Plus. Free lets people contact you through a form. Pro and Plus also give each project an email address, and let you reply to messages in mailcontact.

Yes, with Pro or Plus on your own account. Connect an external assistant that supports remote MCP and choose separate permissions for reading conversations, changing read status and sending replies. Reading is selected by default; sending is optional. The connection can access owned inboxes and accepted shared inboxes, within your role’s permissions. Replies use the inbox owner’s message allowance and require their Pro or Plus plan. MCP access, including reading shared inboxes, is not available on Free.

On Pro and Plus, you can reply directly to a notification email from the verified address that received it. Your answer is sent from the project’s @mailcontact.cc address and appears in the conversation history. You can also open a conversation from a Slack or Discord alert and reply in mailcontact. An active project email address is required.

Each form message, incoming email and reply you send counts as one message. For example, receiving 20 questions and sending 20 replies uses 40 messages. All your projects share the same monthly limit. Alerts and account emails are free. Deleting messages does not reduce your usage for the month. Duplicate deliveries or repeated requests to send the same reply are counted only once.

Free keeps messages for 30 days after receipt. Pro and Plus have no automatic message expiry while paid access is active. When your paid plan ends, your existing history stays available for 30 days after the effective end date, not the day you request cancellation. After that, messages older than 30 days and their linked replies are automatically deleted. Resubscribing before deletion keeps your history.

On Pro and Plus, you can pay €5 once for 1,000 extra messages. Use them for incoming messages and replies for 30 days after payment, even across a monthly quota reset. Your included messages are used first, then the pack expiring soonest. Unused pack credits expire after 30 days. Packs do not renew automatically or add more projects.

Each month on your activation date, including with yearly billing. Free uses your account activation date. If that day does not exist in a month, the quota renews on its last day. Dates use UTC. Unused included messages do not carry over. Changing plans does not refund usage. Packs keep their own 30-day expiry.

You see a warning when you reach 80% and 100% of your limit. At the limit, you cannot receive new messages or send replies until you upgrade, buy extra messages or your monthly allowance renews. You can still read existing messages. You are never charged automatically for going over the limit.

Pro is €9 per month or €90 per year. Plus is €29 per month or €290 per year. Yearly billing saves two months: €18 on Pro or €58 on Plus. Paid subscriptions renew until cancelled; manage your subscription and invoices in the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.

MailContact provides addresses ending in @mailcontact.cc, like [email protected]. Custom email domains are not supported.

Yes, on the inbox owner’s Pro or Plus plan. Invite readers or collaborators to selected projects or all projects. Guests can use Free accounts; replies use the owner’s allowance. Shared access pauses if the owner returns to Free.
